Ben started his banking career with Regions bank in 2008. He worked with them for 8 years in various retail and commercial roles before joining Queensborough as a commercial lender in 2016.

Ben is a 2015 graduate of Columbia County Leadership program and currently serves on the board for the Columbia County Chamber. Ben is a native of Columbia County where he has lived for 35+ years and is a graduate of Greenbrier High School. Additionally Ben graduated from the University of South Carolina Aiken in 2008 where he played baseball for the Pacers while getting his Bachelors Degree.

Ben is married to Stephanie Tankersley and they have 2 boys, Tyson and Hank.
