This Mobile Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our mobile application, Q Mobile Banking (“App”). This Mobile Privacy Policy is intended to supplement the disclosures in any privacy notice(s) you may receive from us in connection with our online banking or other services. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

  1. Information We Collect

When you use Q Mobile Banking, we may collect information from you and/or certain types of information stored on your device, including:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, account numbers, and other identifiers you provide when enrolling or using mobile banking services.
  • Transaction Information: Details about payments, transfers, deposits, and other banking activities.
  • Device & Usage Information: Internet Protocol (IP) address, device model, operating system, app activity, crash reports, and log data.
  • Camera & Images: The App may access your device camera to collect images to enable use of certain features available in the App, including capturing check images for mobile deposit.
  • Location Information: The App periodically collects, transmits, and uses location data to support features that allow us to communicate with you for various reasons such as closures, marketing, maintenance, and fraud alerts, but only if you expressly authorize collection of such information. You may choose whether location data can be monitored on a continuous basis in the background, only while the app is being used, or not at all. You can change your location permissions at any time in your device settings.
  • Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We may use technologies to improve functionality, performance, and security.
  1. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and manage your mobile banking services.
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
  • Process transactions, transfers, and other requests.
  • Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized activity.
  • Communicate important updates, alerts, and customer support messages.

  • With Service Providers: Vendors and partners who help us deliver banking services (e.g., payment processors, cloud providers, analytics, fraud monitoring).

Additionally, you should utilize reputable device security software or applications to help protect against viruses, malware, and other malicious activities. Please be advised that the use of a secure internet service provider alone does not ensure complete protection of your personal or financial information.

  • Account Information: You may access and update certain account details within the App.
  • Location Permissions: You may enable or disable location and background location collection through your device settings. Disabling location may limit certain features (such as finding ATMs or enhanced security checks).
  • Account Deletion: To close your mobile banking service or request deletion of associated personal data, contact us at the information provided below.
  1. Children’s Privacy

Q Mobile Banking is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us for removal.

  1. Third-Party Services

Q Mobile Banking may link to or integrate with third-party tools (e.g., mobile operating systems, biometric authentication, analytics). These services are governed by their own privacy policies.

  1. International Users

The App is intended for customers located in the United States. If you access the App from outside the U.S., your information will be processed and stored in accordance with U.S. law, which may differ from your jurisdiction.

  1. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Mobile Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App with the revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.
