Kevin McDougal brings over two decades of experience in the mortgage industry to his role as Senior Vice President and President of the Mortgage Division at Queensborough. A native of Florence, South Carolina, McDougal graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance. After graduation, he spent six months traveling and working in Australia before beginning his mortgage career in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In 2005, he relocated to Augusta, Georgia with his wife, Augusta native Amelia McCutcheon, to further his career. As a residential loan specialist, he earned the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia (MBAG) Gold Award for eight consecutive years from 2009 to 2016.
He is a member of the Augusta Board of Realtors, the Builders Association of Metro Augusta, and the Sales and Marketing Council of Augusta. He also previously served as Governor for the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia.
Outside of work, McDougal is an Eagle Scout and a former member of the Executive Board of the Georgia-Carolina Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is an active member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. McDougal and his wife are the proud parents of two young boys, and he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as golfing, hunting, fishing, and boating.
