Usually this is when see some of the biggest sales of the year on virtually everything. Black Friday is the day after the Thanksgiving Day and is the biggest retail sales day.

Here are some tips to help you stay on track and enjoy the season:
Create a budget and shopping list.
Creating a list and budget and sticking to it sounds simple. But Black Friday sales are designed in part to get shoppers into a store or on a website so the retailer can sell you stuff you weren’t intending to buy. It’s really easy to get caught up in the excitement and buy things you didn’t budget for. Decide ahead of time how much you want budget for your Black Friday shopping and do your best to resist impulse buying.
Use loyalty programs.
Store loyalty programs often give members early access to coupons, sales, and promotions, then let them earn rewards on what they buy. You can also sign up for Black Friday shopping alerts. Also, most programs offer free in store pick up or shipping.
Get social.
Social media posts from your favorite retail stores are a great way to find out about the best deals and promotions. Retailers will often reward customers who like or follow them with special alerts to Black Friday discounts. Posting on social media is also an easy way to share Black Friday shopping finds with your friends, too.
Shop local.
When you shop local, you are investing in your local community by creating jobs, infusing the local economy and creating a stronger sense of community. In fact, most people say they receive better customer service from local retailers as opposed to “big box stores”.
