Queensborough Employees Make Record-Setting Donation
Employees of Queensborough National Bank & Trust have raised a record-setting total of $25,000 for the United Way of the CSRA through this year’s annual giving campaign. This marks the largest contribution the bank has made to United Way in its approximately 15-year partnership with the organization.
The majority of this year’s contribution came from employee pledges, reflecting strong participation and generosity across all departments. Funds raised will support a broad range of local programs focused on education, basic needs, health, and financial stability throughout the Central Savannah River Area.
“Giving back is part of who we are as a community bank. The fact that this is our highest employee campaign to date reflects the heart and generosity of our team,” said Briana Williams, Community Relations Officer and campaign chair. “Through our long-standing partnership with United Way, we’re proud to invest in programs that strengthen lives and communities where we live and work.”
For nearly 15 years, Queensborough has supported United Way’s mission to address critical human services needs by encouraging employee involvement and contributions through workplace giving. This year’s results underscore the continued commitment of the bank’s employees to making a measurable impact on the community.
United Way of the CSRA works with partner agencies to fund initiatives that help individuals and families thrive, ensuring that local donations stay local to benefit residents within the region.
