Queensborough Proud to be named Columbia County’s Large Business of the Year

At Queensborough National Bank and Trust, our customers are always our first priority. After all, we are a community bank, and our customers also are our friends, family and neighbors. We work to serve our community so we were honored to be recognized at the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce’s 16th annual banquet on May 6.

We are very proud and humbled to be acknowledged as the chamber’s 2020 Large Business of the Year. Senior Vice President Adam Harris accepted the honor at the banquet.

“I am so proud that our bank has been named Columbia County’s Large Business of the Year and being a lifelong resident of the county makes this award even sweeter,” Harris said. “I feel blessed to work for Queensborough and help lead our county’s local hometown community bank.”

The award was voted on by the Chamber’s board of directors for businesses with more than 25 employees that are actively involved in the community. Recent winners include Blanchard & Calhoun Family of Businesses, Ellefson Transportation Group Inc., Allen+Batchelor Construction and Textron Specialized Vehicles.

Founded in 1902, Queensborough National Bank & Trust Co. is Georgia’s community bank with more than 25 locations throughout Georgia. Newsweek named Queensborough the Best Bank in Georgia for 2021.
