Queensborough Supports Jefferson Hospital Through Georgia HEART

Queensborough is pleased to announce a $100,000 contribution to Jefferson Hospital, continuing its long-standing participation in the Georgia HEART Hospital Program. This marks the seventh consecutive year the bank has supported rural hospital care through the program. The funding will help Jefferson Hospital continue providing much needed medical services in Jefferson County and underscores Queensborough’s commitment to strengthening community health throughout Georgia.

The Georgia HEART Program allows taxpayers to direct contributions to eligible rural hospitals while receiving a 100% state income tax credit, up to their allowable limits. Participating C-Corporations and Pass-Through Entity business owners may also qualify for an additional federal business expense deduction, making it a meaningful way to support local healthcare while maximizing tax benefits.

“Jefferson Hospital is an essential part of our region’s healthcare network, and we are honored to continue supporting their outstanding work,” said Clare Easterlin, Queensborough Chief Risk Officer and Jefferson Hospital board member. “We choose to support our local hospital through the Georgia HEART program because we’re committed to improving the lives of our neighbors here in the Jefferson County area.”
