Queensborough Team Raises $9,816 for Paceline in 2025, Surpassing $75,000 in Total Contributions
Queensborough Bank & Trust employees and community members once again showed their dedication to fighting cancer through their participation in the annual Paceline Ride. The Queensborough team raised $9,816 during Paceline 2025, bringing the total amount raised by the team to more than $75,000 since they first began participating in the event.
The Annual Paceline Ride in Augusta, GA, is a powerful tradition that brings the community together for a great cause. Each year cyclists come together to ride for a purpose, raising funds for the Georgia Cancer Center. Through the collective efforts of participants, volunteers, and sponsors, Paceline continues to make a meaningful contribution in the fight against cancer, helping to fund groundbreaking research and provide resources for patients.
Troy Breitmann, Queensborough First Vice President, Regional Trust and Fiduciary Manager, serves as Queensborough’s team captain. Breitmann’s motivation to ride is deeply personal. Having lost multiple family members to cancer and watching multiple family members to the disease, he rides to honor those experiences and support the ongoing fight.
“I ride for the loved ones I have lost and those that have fought cancer,” says Breitmann. “It’s important to me, as a community banker, that every dollar raised stays in our local community, to help our friends and neighbors in their fight against cancer.”
The Queensborough team recently presented a check to Paceline organizers to celebrate this year’s fundraising milestone and recognize the continued support of employees, customers, and community partners who contribute to the cause each year.
