Queensborough is pleased to announce the promotion of Travis Collins, Chief Information Officer, to the bank’s Executive Management Team. This promotion reflects Collins’s extraordinary leadership and management skills, deep technological expertise, and dedication to the people he works with every day.
Collins has been with Queensborough since 2008 and since 2015 has held the Chief Technology Officer title. In his role as Chief Information Officer, his expanded responsibilities include Managed IT, including hardware, networks, and telephone systems, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, and information and cyber security for the bank’s entire footprint.
Throughout his tenure, Collins has played an integral role in advancing Queensborough’s technology infrastructure as the bank has grown, helping ensure the organization remains well-positioned to support employees, customers, and communities.
“Travis has long been an integral part of protecting the bank and serving our communities,” said Clare Easterlin, Queensborough’s Chief Risk Officer. “I am confident he will help guide our organization through its next chapter of growth and success. We are excited to welcome his leadership to the executive team.”
Collins holds an associate degree in education from Georgia Military College and a diploma from Sandersville Technical College. A lifelong learner, Collins is finishing a degree in Information Technology from Georgia Southern University.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Collins is active in the Washington County community. He has served on the Washington County Development Authority Board since January 2018 and is a member of the Washington County Basketball Tip Off Club, where he assists with fundraisers and events.
Collins resides in Washington County with his wife, Audrey, and their sons, Kaden and Gavin.
