The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and Augusta Magazine have named Robert Mize among the Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch in 2025. He serves as Vice President and Commercial Banker at Queensborough National Bank & Trust.

When our local businesses succeed, our entire community prospers,” said Mize. “It’s an honor to be recognized among such a talented and dedicated group of young professionals who care deeply about making a difference.”
Robert joined Queensborough in 2018 and was promoted to his current role of Vice President, Commercial Banker. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Columbus State University in 2016 and is a 2024 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Beyond banking, Robert is an avid golfer and plays in many amateur events. He was a member of the PGA Tour Latin America in 2018, recognized twice as an All-American in college and won the Georgia Amateur in 2014.
Mize is an active member of the community, contributing to local initiatives and fostering business growth in the Augusta region. He has served as a volunteer for Golden Harvest Food Bank, United Way, The Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign and as a guest speaker at Heritage Academy’s Career Week.
The Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch was established in 2009 by the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Augusta Magazine, to annually highlight 10 young professionals (age 25–35) who are making a significant impact in the Augusta Region.
