What inspired you to start your own business?

I always loved old cars and it’s a great way to enjoy time with friends and family.

What inspires your work and what sets you apart from everyone else?

I love seeing the cars every day. Since I can’t own one of everything, I can at least get to enjoy working with and driving them.

What is your background and how did you develop the skills to start your business?

I started working on cars when I bought my first 1966 Mustang when I was 16. I had to work on it as it was old and I was only 16… Through the years I have owned many different types of vintage and antique vehicles and I reminisce about them often.

What has been your biggest success to date?

Having a family that supports me enjoying the vehicles and sharing the dream of its activity.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Probably personnel, since we are very specialized we do things differently than the mainstream auto repair. I have been blessed with guys who do love cars and our work environment is more like a day with friends.

Which small businesses are you inspired by?

I have a mentor who is retired. He now is able to perform work on friend’s cars at no charge just to spend time with them and help advance the hobby.

If you could go back to the beginning knowing what you know now, what would you have done differently?

Start slower. Business took off so fast that I feel starting slower would have been more comfortable. However, I can’t complain about the activity we have been blessed with.

What’s your best advice for someone who wants to start their own business?

Find a mentor. They don’t even need to be in the same line of work, Business experience and a sounding board is invaluable.
