Queensborough is proud to recognize 64 employees who have successfully completed the bank’s internal financial literacy accreditation program. Each team member completed 72 courses as part of the “IQ University Certification,” a program designed to empower and reward team members as they help others strengthen their financial well-being. Certified participants were honored for their dedication and commitment and received a $1,000 bonus in recognition of their achievement.

IQ University reflects Queensborough’s deep investment in its people. As Tyreon Williams, L&D, Leadership Training Specialist, shared, “IQ University is a vital Queensborough initiative that empowers employees through stronger financial literacy, creating long-term value for our staff, stakeholders, and customers. I’m honored to help continue Henry Leverett’s legacy and carry forward his mission of expanding financial freedom, inspiring a growing legacy of knowledge for generations to come.”

This program represents Queensborough’s ongoing commitment to financial education—for our employees, our customers, and our communities. Through IQ University’s interactive modules, our team members explored key topics like budgeting, saving, credit management, and long-term financial planning.

As newly IQU Certified Ambassadors, these employees will take an active role in facilitating conversations about financial literacy with our bank customers and others in the community, helping them make confident and informed decisions about their finances.
