With 28 years of extensive experience in banking, including 17 years of dedicated service with Queensborough in Savannah, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership as Coastal Region President.

He has served in various capacities within the banking sector across Georgia. Additionally, his tenure of 8 years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve reflects his dedication to service both in and out of the financial industry.

As a true community banker, Mike is an active member of his community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Senior Citizens Inc. and as a volunteer advocate with Chatham Savannah Citizens Advocacy. His involvement extends to organizations such as the American Legion Post 135, where he is a proud member. Past roles include Board Member of the Savannah Small Business Assistance Center, Trustee of the Ossabaw Island Foundation and Historic Savannah Foundation, and Chairman of Ogeechee Riverkeeper.

Over the past 10 years, he has overseen the remarkable growth of Queensborough’s presence in the coastal market, expanding from one small loan office to 10 branches and a commercial lending group.

As Coastal Region President, Mike overseas a team of Regional Managers who are responsible for leading the bank in the following markets: Savannah, Pooler, Rincon, Garden City, Hinesville, Statesboro, Sylvania, Metter, Midville and Swainsboro.

Mike and his wife Ashley have two daughters. His roots run deep in Jefferson County, where his family maintains a farm near Grange. He is a graduate of Swainsboro High School and Georgia Southern University.
