Queensborough Donates to Jefferson Hospital through GEORGIA Heart

Queensborough is proud to announce a $100,000 donation to Jefferson Hospital as part of the Georgia Heart Hospital Program. This donation will help support the hospital’s mission to provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare to patients and part of Queensborough’s ongoing commitment to improving the health and well-being of communities across Georgia.

Georgia HEART allows taxpayers to make contributions in exchange for 100% state tax income credit, up to specified limits, to qualified rural hospitals of their choice. C-Corporations and Pass-thru Entity business owners who participate may also qualify for an additional federal business expense deduction.

“Jefferson Hospital is a vital part of the healthcare community in Georgia, and we are honored to support their efforts to provide outstanding care to patients,” said Bill Easterlin, Queensborough CEO. “Through this donation, we hope to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and families who rely on Jefferson Hospital for their care.”

“Jefferson Hospital is sincerely grateful for the generous contribution received from Queensborough National Bank & Trust through the Rural Hospital Tax Credit Program. Funds received in 2023 will present Jefferson Hospital with the opportunity to make necessary improvements and advancements in our patient care areas. Contributions will be utilized to support our efforts in increasing and improving access to quality healthcare services for Jefferson and surrounding counties,” says Jefferson Hospital CEO, Wendy Martin. “We are thankful for Queensborough National Bank and Trust’s decision to take advantage of this tax credit opportunity – they are continuing to make an incredible, positive impact on Jefferson Hospital and the communities we serve.”
