Queensborough National Bank & Trust is proud to announce the addition of Scott H. Rasplicka, owner of Delta Metals Inc., of Savannah to its board of directors.
“For six years, Scott has been a key contributor to our growth as a member of our Coastal Advisory Board,” says Bill Easterlin, Queensborough President & CEO. “As our bank continues to grow in the Coastal market, we recognize the value of the strategic leadership and deep commitment to community engagement he brings to our Board of Directors as well.”
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Rasplicka furthered his education with a Master of Science in Aviation Systems and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. After 13 years of service as a naval officer, culminating in a role as Operational Test Director during which he contributed to advanced fighter systems such as the F-35, Scott transitioned to Space Systems/Loral in Silicon Valley, where he oversaw testing of high-profile satellite programs including GOES, Globalstar, Intelsat, and XM Radio.
Upon relocating to Savannah, Scott led ventures in construction and real estate and later supported logistics innovation at Georgia Ports Authority. He co-founded Home Port Solutions LLC to deliver security and technology solutions to both public and private clients and additionally established a financial services business managing ATM installations across the Southeast. In 2013, Scott became CEO of Delta Metals, Inc., a 65-year-old commercial roofing and metal fabrication company, which he continues to lead.
“My relationship with Queensborough began when we searched for a local, community bank that could support our business with speed, integrity, and great customer service,” says Rasplicka. “Through the ups and downs of business cycles, including the Covid period, Queensborough stood by us and has responded to our needs with quality solutions. Choosing Queensborough was one of the best business decisions I ever made.”
Scott is also deeply committed to civic leadership. His involvement includes serving as President of the Coastal Business, Education and Technology Alliance (C BETA), chairing the Savannah Area GIS Blue Ribbon Committee, and presiding over the local Boy Scouts board. He has held board positions with Georgia Tech Savannah, the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum, Skidaway Marine Science Foundation, United Way, Savannah Country Day School, and Isle of Hope United Methodist Church, in addition to acting as a Blue and Gold Officer for the Naval Academy and serving on the Queensborough National Bank Savannah Advisory Board. A Leadership Savannah alumnus, Scott was honored as one of The Business Report’s “40 Under 40 Top Young Business Achievers” in 1999.
Scott and his wife Melissa reside in Savannah, where they are the proud parents of two adult children: Merideth (27) and Erickson (25).
