The Realty ONE Group Visionaries open in January of 2021 and offers a full range of residential Real Estate Services. The company combines a fresh new approach with cutting edge technology to deliver unparalleled customer service.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We started the business to help people. First, we want to help our clients turn their dreams of home ownership into reality. Additionally, we wanted to break the chains of the traditional brokerage company and create win-win situation through coaching, mentoring and empowered agents.
What inspires your work and what sets you apart from everyone else?
We love to have fun, live by our values and our workplace exudes an infectious positive energy. We whole-heartedly believe that quality training, the right tools, and lots of love will help our team succeed and excel in Real Estate.
What is your background and how did you develop the skills to start your business?
Charissa Jones, the Managing Broker and has over 20 years of experience in the Real Estate Industry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and several Real Estate designations. Charissa and her team, The Jones Group, excelled over the last two years, closing more than $50 million in residential real estate. She also served as the Productivity Coach for her previous brokerage, where she demonstrated leadership and a gift for coaching and mentoring which resulted in the program growing from 0 to 75 agents in less than a year.
Ernest Jones, the Operations Manager and is a retired US Army Signal Officer with over 25 years of distinguished service. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management and several IT certifications. Throughout his career he has served in a variety of Command and Technical Leadership positions. Ernest is a proven leader who knows how to get individuals and organizations to perform consistently to successfully meet objectives.
Together we couple our professional skills to make a dynamic leadership team. Additionally, we have surrounded ourselves with very talented staff and exceptional Real Estate Professionals.
What has been your biggest success to date?
As new business owners our most significant achievement has been completing our building renovations in only three month and successfully open their brokerage with more than 30 agents.
What has been your biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge is balance. We are learning to divide and conquer while leveraging our incredibly talented team to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Which small businesses are you inspired by?
We have always been inspired by small businesses that make a positive impact in their community by helping people while provide quality goods and service. We strive to establish a reputation as highly proficient and professional organization that loves to give back.
If you could go back to the beginning knowing what you know now, what would you have done differently?
If we could go back and do it again, we would have started this business five years ago. We often think about how many more people we could have help, if we had started earlier
What’s your best advice for someone who wants to start their own business?
Do your research, make a plan and move out. . . Don’t wait for the perfect time, because everything will never be perfect. Mistakes and set back are OK. They serve as excellent opportunities to learn and grow. Make the adjustments and keep moving.
